JOB DESCRIPTION
The Essentia Internship Program is 12 weeks of on-the job training that provides interns with the opportunity to learn more about the energy and commodity trading industry, technologies, processes and other services that EPAM Essentia offers to its clients.
Assigned Tasks
Interns will be assigned to various tasks including billable and non-billable work. Tasks will be technical, business, or administrative in nature. Examples of assigned tasks will include:
- Technology Design, Development and Testing
- Business Process Design
- Research
- Documentation
Creative Research Project
Interns will get time set aside to work on a project that they believe will be valuable to their educational experience while also contributing to the firm’s objectives. These projects will be presented during the final week of the internship program to the firm’s leadership and possible integration into the firm’s offerings.
Training
Interns will get training from Essentia staff on various topics relating to the services offered by the firm. Training will range from shadowing experienced staff to group study.
Academic Credit
