Gabriel brings over two decades of leadership in management and IT consulting, with a specialized focus on oil & gas production and marketing, business strategy, and systems implementation including energy trading and risk management (ETRM).
Gabriel’s career includes a diverse portfolio of experiences—from strategic planning in upstream oil & gas to senior business analyst and project management roles for global ETRM implementations. Prior to EPAM, Gabriel held leadership roles at prominent consulting firms, where he helped clients achieve enterprise-wide transformations through multi-region projects spanning geographic locations including North America, South America, and Europe. Gabriel also led cross functional teams on high-impact projects for a wide range of multinational companies, leveraging multiple C/ETRM platforms.
With a proven track record of delivering results in dynamic and regulated environments, Gabriel is a trusted IT Strategy advisor to clients navigating the evolving energy landscape. At EPAM, Gabriel immediately stepped into a complex global client engagement where his skills began making an impact on Day 1.
Gabriel holds an International MBA from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid and a BSBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Professional in Business Analysis (PBA).
