Essentia Advisory Partners is pleased to announce that James Fisher has joined the firm as a Managing Director.

James has over 25 years of hands-on experience with a focus Upstream and Oilfield Services matters.   He has a diverse finance and accounting background including both industry and consulting roles across large companies and new startups in oil and gas and various service industries.

Prior to joining Essentia, James spent the last 15 years in Director and Managing Director roles with two Houston-based consulting firms.     He provided value additive work in a variety of consulting projects including financial due diligence for acquisition and financing targets, process improvement projects, corporate restructuring for a variety of debtors and creditors, strategy projects, financial reporting matters, litigation support and internal control reviews.

Prior to his consulting work, James was a CFO of a marine construction company, the western hemisphere controller of a UK based downstream service company, a variety of financial roles in a multi-billion dollars oilfield services company including as Controller of the company’s migration into the E&P business using a combination of leveraged services and more than $120 million in additional cash investments in multiple US and international projects.
